Trash Pickup Normal Today, Delayed Rest of the Week

In anticipation of the major blizzard bearing down on Rhode Island, the East Greenwich officials have decided to proactively delay waste collection for most of the week.

Customers whose waste pickup day is Monday are still on schedule, but Tuesday customers will not be serviced until Wednesday. The rest of the week will be served on a one-day delay, according to a town release.

Things could change depending on the severity of the storm, however, so there could be an additional delay if the snow lingers beyond Tuesday night.
