Two Marijuana Arrests Last Week In East Greenwich

From the files of the East Greenwich police reports.

Monday, March 7

4:26 p.m. - A woman reported that her wallet was taken from the West Bay Laundromat on Post Road. Surveillance footage showed a man putting her wallet into his pocket, according to a police report.

5:00 p.m. - A River Run Road resident reported that her 1998 Geo Prizm was stolen from her driveway. The woman called the police from Aruba. A friend of her's told her her car was missing, she told police.

Tuesday, March 8

2:00 p.m. - Police arrested Paul Larson, 49, of Warwick, for violating a no contact order. Larson turned himself in at the police station.

Thursday, March 10

11:18 a.m. - a storage facility at Camp Fogarty was allegedly broken into and reported stolen were several sleeping bags and other field equipment.

Friday, March 11

4:54 p.m. - Police cited Adres Garcia, 37, of Providence, on Queen Street for driving without a license. He was pulled over for parking in a crosswalk.

Saturday, March 12

1:30 a.m. - Police cited Joseph Delviscio, 22, of Narragansett, on Post Road for driving with an expired license. He was pulled over for speeding.

5:16 p.m. - Police arrested Jesse Lohrs, 29, at his apartment on Exchange Street for domestic assault. His wife alleges that he threw a milk bottle at her from a second story window.

11:02 p.m. - Police arrested Daniel O'Neil, 36, of East Providence, outside of the Harbourside for possession of marijuana. A bouncer told police that the man had rolled and smoked a joint on Water Street. Police allegedly saw a bag of marijuana "sticking out of Mr. O'Neil's jacket pocket.

11:56 p.m. - Police arrested Scott Edes, 42, of Eldredge Avenue, at a Duke Street apartment for violating a no contact order.

Sunday, March 13

6:37 a.m. - Police noticed a window was broken at Magic Nails on Main Street and it appeared as if someone had entered the store through the broken window. At the time the report was written, it was unknown if anything was stolen.

10:34 a.m. - A 25-year-old Warwick woman reported that she was assaulted by a man on Saturday. She said the man was in her car and had become angry because of a fight with his girlfriend. When the woman asked him to leave her car, he refused. He then got out and allegedly kicked the car causing damage. He is then said to have pushed the woman's head into a telephone pole, which caused her to need stitches.
