Volunteers Clean Up EG Historical Cemeteries 12 and 18
Middle schoolers outnumbered adults at this weekend's cleanup event.
From the EG Historical Cemetery Commission:
On Saturday, May 16 community volunteers in partnership with the East Greenwich Historical Cemetery Commissioners convened to continue to restore two Rhode Island Historical Cemeteries – Town of East Greenwich #12 and #18.
Middle school and high school students outnumbered the adult volunteers! These esteemed volunteers were fulfilling community service requirements or simply volunteering their time.
