Yoga For Seniors, Gals Soccer and a Chance Of Thunderstorms

Yoga for seniors: Head over to today for yoga for seniors. Come and experience the benefits of gentle Hatha Yoga, as it improves health through relaxation and breathing techniques, relieves stress, improves flexibility, and slows the aging process. All levels welcome! The class is taught by Jan Silvestri.  Fee per class: $3 Members/ $4 Non-Members.

Going, going, gone … Wednesday’s the day you can try out your auction skills right here in town. Northerbee’s Auction takes place every week on this day at the American Legion Hall on Main Street. The preview opens at 4 p.m.  and the auction begins at 6 pm. There is food available from Mike’s Kitchen. You’ll find antique glassware, furniture, toys collectibles and more. How much do you really want that Mission oak dresser, anyway?

Women’s soccer: Women 25 and over are invited to play recreational games of pick-up soccer. Different teams will be formed each night in this casual yet fun evening. This is a Parks and Rec program so registration is encouraged, but if you want to see what all the fuss is about (in other words, what !), the play goes from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on the turf field at EGHS.

Warm with possible thunderstorms: Looks like it will be cooler than yesterday but still pretty warm with highs in the mid 80s. It should be partly cloudly with a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.
