Alice R. Mauricio, 91

Alice Rose Mauricio, of Vincent Avenue, East Providence, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at her home.  She was 91.

She was the wife of the late Manuel J. Mauricio, Sr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Sylvester and Esther (Silva) Roderick. 

She was a cook for the Oliver Day Nursery School for 25 years before retiring.  

She leaves one son, John J. Mauricio of North Providence, eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Gloria J., Daniel R. and Manuel J. Mauricio, Jr. and sister of the late Mary Vincent, Joseph Rose, Albert, Anthony and Philip Roderick.  

Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 am from the Perry Mc-Stay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue.

Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Calling hours are today from 5 to 8 pm.
