East Bay Community Action Program is pleased to announce the promotion of Gwen Redmond, of Warwick, RI, to the newly created position of Vice President of Impact and Strategic Initiatives. Redmond has been with EBCAP since 2021, providing significant support to the agency's growth initiatives and strategic efforts. In her new role, she will enhance organizational strategy and operational excellence while driving innovation and business development. She will also implement system-level improvements focused on optimizing EBCAP's federal, state, and private funding opportunities while strengthening relationships with community partners and stakeholders. "Gwen's extensive experience in healthcare and social service management has played a key role in EBCAP's expansion and we will continue to look to her leadership to help guide our strategic initiatives and partnerships," states Jesse Shipley, EBCAP's Chief Operating Officer.
East Bay Community Program is a private, non-profit 501(c) (3) corporation that provides a wide array of health and human services to the residents of Rhode Island's East Bay, including the municipalities of Barrington, Bristol, East Providence, Jamestown, Little Compton, Middletown, Newport, Portsmouth, Tiverton, and Warren.
