More Victims May Press Charges Against East Providence Stabbing Suspect
Police say additional victims may have been involved with the argument that resulted in the stabbing of a 33-year-old East Providence man.
Additional victims may be connected to a Barrington man who was arrested and charged in the stabbing of 33-year-old East Providence resident over the weekend.
Justin Ezovski, 29, of Barrington, turned himself into police on Tuesday. He was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
At approximately 4 a.m. Monday, Dec. 26, police were flagged down by a group of people attempting to drive the injured man to the hospital. The man had reportedly been stabbed at a holiday party about a mile away on Booth Avenue. He suffered from four stab wounds, one penatrating his liver. Rescue crews transported the man to Rhode Island Hospital while police officers interviewed those at the party.

The man was later released from the hospital on Tuesday afternoon. He is expected to make a full recovery. Police are refraining from releasing his name.
According to Det. Commander Captain Richard Frazier, the assault stemmed from an argument where alcohol was a factor. Police are still investigating the case; other victims may have been involved in the altercation.

"We may have additional victims," he said. "We're going to locate other people at the party."
The Det. Commander and two detectives are working on the case.
