Barbara A. Zito, of Blanche Ave., East Providence, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at Linn Health Center. She was 82.
She was the wife of Dominic Zito. Born in East Providence, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Maria (Mendonca) Filipe.
She worked for the school lunch program for the State of Rhode Island for 18 years.
Besides her husband of 52 years, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Ermelinda Zito, and her grandsons, Luke and Gian, all of East Providence.
Her funeral will be on Saturday, Jan. 5, at 9 am from the Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am in Our Lady of Loreto Church, Waterman Ave., East Providence.

Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Calling hours are on Friday from 4 to 7 pm.
