BAY VIEW ACADEMY STUDENTS SLEEP UNDER A T-REX AND GET AMPED BY LIGHTNING

East Providence, RI – Visiting the Boston Museum of Science is always an excellent field trip, but for Bay View Academy fifth graders, it’s sleeping there over night that really amps up the fun, particularly when they’re assigned the sleeping location right underneath a life-size Tyrannosaurus Rex! On May 8th, 22 girls and 13 brave adult chaperones created unforgettable science memories with an overnight field trip to the Museum of Science. They toured the museum, attended a workshop on making models, had a late night snack of dip-n-dots, and enjoyed the Lightning! program. At the end of the evening, they rolled out their sleeping bags in the Dinosaurs: Modeling the Mesozoic exhibit. The next morning, the adventure continued with a Planetarium show, an IMAX movie and the chance to revisit their favorite exhibits.
