Located in East Providence, Boston House of Pizza's name may imply an identity crisis, but one thing that is not up for debate is the quality of the food.

Boston House of Pizza knows how to oven bake pies to perfection. The toppings and cheese are baked just crispy enough to give texture without impeding on flavor. Their sandwiches and wraps are hearty, along with their side dishes. This is the last place you need to worry about not getting bang for your buck. In fact, you'll probably have food left over for lunch the next day. And yes, it tastes just as good reheated as it does the first time around.

In all fairness, Boston House of Pizza isn't a freestanding incarnation of the Second Coming. You need thick skin to eat there. The staff could really care less about making small chat. Any attempt at starting conversation will probably end with you hearing,  "Uh-huh, that's great. Now what d'ya want?"

But don't get scared off by those manning the counter. If your focus is on the food (as we recommend it should be), you'll see past the bristly nature of the family-owned restaurant and straight to delicious fried seafood. And if your skin still needs thickening, you can always call for a delivery.
