Bites Nearby: Fall in Love with Pizza Amore

The Pawtucket Avenue pizza shop offers tons of diversity.

When you fall in love, you want to shout it from a mountain top. You want everyone in your life to know what a great thing you have going, as you try to get everyone around you to see the awesomeness that you see. Such is the case with Pizza Amore, a great option for dining in or ordering out.

The word for "love" in Italian, Amore has a menu so diverse, it will have you falling head over heels over its offerings. Eggplant, ziti, veal: all of these Italian-American staples can be found there. And if you still have room, the kitchen will gladly serve you omelets, burgers, spinach pies and curly fries. The modest, but tasty, dessert menu features Del's lemonade. All things totaled, it's a match made in heaven, if you ask us.

Of course, there's great pizza which comes in three sizes: small, large and Sicilian. From what we've seen, the small is large enough to feed one hungry customer, and the Sicilian is large enough to keep a family satisfied until the next trip to Amore. The prices are reasonable, too. You can order a Sicilian size for a party (or for yourself, we won't judge), and still not break over $20. Not a bad deal. Amore's specialty pizzas come in small and large sizes and can be paired with any topping imaginable.

Amore's awesomeness doesn't stop at Old World favorites and great pizza. There are grinders and wraps, too. On the wrap side of things, there's just as much diversity. For those desiring a vegetarian take on things, try the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap — hold the chicken. For those eating with a vegan mentality, try the Mediterranean — hold the feta.

Pizza Amore delivers and offers rotating specials. Be sure to ask about them. They're a great way to try new things while saving a buck!
