Businesses Fined Minimum Penalty for Serving Booze to Minors
Four businesses were fined $250 after the East Providence Prevention Coalition organized a sting operation with the police department.

Four East Providence businesses were given a slap on the wrist this week after being found guilty of serving alcoholic beverages to teenagers.
All the businesses were first-time offenders, according to Sgt. John Andrews. The minors collaborated with the to conduct the sting operation months ago.
At the Tuesday City Council meeting, Council member Katie Kleyla told audience members that alcohol offenses are taken "very seriously" and would not be tolerated.
