Carol A. Christman, 75, Registered Nurse

Carol A. Christman, of Port Charlotte, Fla., formerly of East Providence, died on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at her home. She was 75.

She was the wife of the late Gerald H. Christman Sr. and the late Paul E. Coleman. She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late George H. and Margaret (Humphrey) Belfield.

A Registered Nurse, she worked for St. Joseph's Hospital for 26 years before retiring in 1989 as director of St. Joseph Ambulatory Care Center. After moving to Florida, she worked for 20 years in health care before retiring in 2010. 

Her funeral will be held today at 8:45 am from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Augustine's Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery.
