Catherine R. Botelho, 79

Catherine R. (Allienello) Botelho, of Freeborn Avenue, died on Jan. 19, 2013, at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 79.

She was the wife of Joseph F. Botelho for 58 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Laura (Kopke) Allienello. She was a 1951 graduate of Bay View Academy.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Laura Jean Souza and her husband, John; Anthony J. Botelho and his wife, Eileen; Pasquale Botelho and his wife, Christine; Lisa M. DeOliveira and her husband, John, and Kimberly A. Kollett and her husband, Michael, all of East Providence; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren five step-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren. She also is survived by her brother, Victor R. Allienello, of Narragansett, her half sister Gina Ainsworth, and stepsister, Christine Lanoue, both of Cape Cod, Mass.

Calling hours will be held on today, Jan. 22, from 4 to 8 pm from the Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8 am from Rebello Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street, East Providence.

Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
