East Providence Businesses Receive Beautification Awards
Kelly Ainsworth was given the Community Service Award for designing the gardens at Roger Williams Spring.

Those perfectly manicured hedges and carefully-placed cobblestone walkways have not gone unnoticed.
The East Providence Beautification Commission recognized small businesses for their attention to details and overall pride in exterior landscaping during Wednesday's council meeting. One business was chosen from each ward.
"We feel fortunate to be meeting tonight, to honor those organizations in the City of East Providence, which are great examples adding to the beauty of our city," said Joe Gibson, chairman of the beautification commission. "Our city public spaces look great, thanks to neighborhood pride."
