Coronavirus: East Providence Fire Crews To Wear Full PPE On Calls
The East Providence Mayor's Office said fire crews will wear fluid impervious suits, facemasks, gloves and N95 respirators on calls.
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — East Providence fire crews will be dressed in full personal protection equipment during residence calls during the coronavirus health emergency. The East Providence Mayor's Office said both fire and rescue personnel will be wearing fluid-impervious suits, full face shields, N95 respirators, gloves and eye protection in response to calls.
The message was to alert residents to expect a different look from crews responding to a call.
