Cranston Woman Charged With Allegedly Stealing From Patients
Anna Garcia is facing three larceny charges.

A Cranston woman is facing three larceny charges in connection with thefts from East Providence residents.
According to a report from East Providence police, on June 22, Carlos Vieira reported that between June 4 and 20, about $390 had been taken from a bureau drawer in the bedroom of his mother's home. His mother also had about $780 taken from her pocketbook, according to the report.
Only his mother and a nurse's assistant, Anna Garcia, were in the house, according to the report.

Cynthia Quatrucci, the owner of Access Healthcare on Warren Avenue, the company that Garcia worked for, said she had had three prior complaints involving Garcia. One involved another East Providence incident and another incident that is being investigated in Central Falls, according to the report.
Quatrucci also told police that Garcia was suspended on June 16, but had performed care without the company's knowledge.

Garcia, 35, lives at 200 Narragansett Ave. in Cranston. She has been charged with one count of larceny over $500 and two counts of larceny under $500, according to Capt. Richard Frazier.
