He was the husband of the late Mary G. (Pimental) Vieira. Born June 5, 1921, in Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late Antonio and Helena (Amorin) Vieira.
He leaves his daughters, Elena Guerra, and her husband, Paul, of Prospect, CT, Mary Anne O'Brien and her husband, James, of Southington, CT, and Angela Vieira and her husband, Evan Snyder, of La Jolla, CA; seven grandchildren, Anthony, Kerri Anne, Nicholas, Michael, Kevin, Ciaran and Madden; two great-grandsons, Jacoby and Adrian; and his sister, Marie Estrela Pacheco of East Providence.
Visitation will be Saturday morning, Jan. 19, from 8 to 9 am at Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence.

His funeral will begin Saturday at 9 am from Rebello followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery.
