E. Providence Police Looking For Hit-And-Run Pedestrian Crash Suspect

East Providence police shared video of the Honda Fit they said was involved in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — East Providence police said they are looking for a woman involved in a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian.

Police said the crash happened around 9 p.m., Friday, and the driver was last seen traveling eastbound on Warren Avenue from Pawtucket Avenue.

"We are looking for assistance in locating a late model electric blue Honda Fit," East Providence police said in a statement. "The vehicle may have a Rhode Island registration containing the numbers 1 and 5. The vehicle should be missing the driver side mirror and have front end damage."

Police said the driver was a woman with shoulder-length blond hair and was about 5 feet, 8 inches tall.
