East Providence Community Development Block Grant Survey

East Providence is conducting a survey to help determine how to spend $3.8 in expected block grants over the next five years.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — East Providence residents can have a say in how the city spends its expected $3.8 million in federal Community Development Block Grant funds over the next five years.

Grants can be used for housing, economic development, public facilities, social services and planning. The city has issued a survey to determine where its focus should be be in awarding the grants.

Answers will be anonymous and confidential. Those responding are asked not to provide a name or other identifying information beyond what is asked in the survey questions.

The survey, which can be found here, is expected to take about seven to 10 minutes.
