East Providence Farmers Market Returns In July

The Weaver Library Family Farmers Market will return in East Providence July 9 through Sept. 24.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — The Weaver Library Farmers Market plans to be back this summer as the state economy reopens amid the coronavirus health emergency.

The farmers market is scheduled to open July 9 — which expected to be in the early stages of phase 3 of the state's reopening. In phase three, Gov. Gina Raimondo has said that social distancing guidelines will still apply, but gathering limits are expected to be raised from 15 to as many as 50.

"We are so excited to welcome you to this year's market where you will find fresh food, produce, plants and more," the Weaver Library Farmers Market posted on social media. "We are taking every precaution to keep all of us safe and happy. There will be music and dance to make your shopping experience even more pleasant."
