East Providence Jr. Townies to Compete at Nationals

To the editor:
As you know we already have state champion cheerleaders and football players! Now we are happy to relay that we also have Jr. Townie regional champions!
The Jr. Midget football team beat Apponequet today, 28-0.

Our regional champions will be representing EP Jr Townies, Ocean State Pop Warner, and the New England region at nationals!
They will leave for Orlando Florida – Disney World – on Thursday.

We have planned a fundraising event to make the final push to get this team there. As you may know it costs about $40,000 to send a team.
