East Providence Man Arrested On Domestic Assault Warrant: Police

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — An East Providence man was arrested on two outstanding warrants for domestic violence charges during a traffic stop in Providence on Friday morning. State Police said Shaquille Maine, 26, had two Superior Court bench warrants out on him for domestic simple assault.

Maine was stopped on Cranston Street shortly before noon. He was taken to Lincoln Woods State Police Barracks and later taken to the Sixth District Court for arraignment.
