East Providence Man Indicted by Grand Jury
Brandon Bernard is being charged with first degree robbery, conspiracy, and simple assault.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI—A 24-year-old East Providence man will face first degree robbery and other charges in connection with an Oct. 6 assault. Brandon Bernard, 24, has been indicted by the Providence Grand Jury, Atty. Gen. Peter Kilmartin's office said.
He is charged with first degree robbery, conspiracy, and simple assault. Kilmartin's office said. The alleged crime happened in East Providence. Three other people were in on the conspiracy.
Bernard will be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on April 26.
