EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — A soup giveaway will be held for East Providence residents who are having a tough time with food security amid the coronavirus health crisis.

The Elisha Project and the Boys & Girls Club of East Providence worked together with the city of East Providence to organize the giveaway on Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Riverside Middle School on Forbes Street in Riverside.

Soups is courtesy of donations from the Blount Company Soup Store and Ocean State Job Lot.
