East Providence's Newest Bank Invites City to Help Celebrate
Washington Trust Bank will be giving away food, tickets, prizes and 'Millionaire For a Day' on Saturday morning.

Washington Trust is celebrating the opening of a new East Providence branch on Saturday, Oct. 1, with a two-hour celebration they’re calling “I Luv East Providence Day.”
East Providence residents are invited to the celebration, which will include a “Millionaire for a Day contest,” activities for kids, ticket giveaways, complimentary food, and desserts from Gregg’s Restaurant. Providence Bruins mascot Samboni will give away four-packs of tickets to the first 50 guests.
The new branch is located at 587 Taunton Ave., across from East Providence High School. The event takes place from 10 am to noon.

Radio station Lite Rock 105 will be giving away tickets to the Roger Williams Park Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular, King Richard’s Faire and a chance to meet Josh Groban.
