CANteen Youth Leadership Program information meeting

he East Bay Food Pantry (EBFP) is excited to announce the pilot year of The CANteen Youth Leadership Program. Based on successful youth leadership program curricula from around the country,  CANteen combines a leadership and entrepreneurship curriculum with community service projects that assist the EBFP in meeting its mission “to engage, educate and empower the East Bay in creating a hunger-free community.” CANteen is open to all East Bay RI high school students and seeks to empower East Bay youth through engaging experiences and collaboration to develop the skills, self-confidence and commitment required for effective community service.

An informational meeting for students and parents will be held on Wednesday, September 12 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room at Franklin Court, 150 Franklin St., Bristol, RI. The program will run from September – May with weekly evening meetings.
