The 5th Annual Lauren Zarembka Memorial Foundation Fundraiser will be held tonight. The donation is $20 per person, $10 for children ages 5-10.

The foundation was founded in memory of Lauren Zarembka, a 2006 EPHS graduate who passed away Sept. 23, 2007 after a two and a half year battle with a brain tumor.

The Lauren Zarembka Memorial Foundation was formed on the premise that even through adversity, an individual can still make a difference in people's lives.
The goal of the foundation is to provide scholarships to assist graduating and continuing students in the areas of: Performance Arts, Culinary Arts, and/or the Field of Medicine.
Additionally, the foundation looks to provide funds to assist those Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts families at Hasbro Children's Hospital during each holiday season who are battling childhood cancer. The fund also provides a generous financial donation to support a deserving music or theater event.
