Liberty Tax’s ten-week Tax School helps students learn personal tax-savings strategies, as well as gain new
skill sets that can lead to professional certification and employment opportunities. Students will also learn
to overcome one of life’s greatest fears – preparing
taxes - while working in an industry that is truly “Made in
America”.

“Nearly everyone can take our classes. The main requirements are computer literacy, combined with a desire to learn about individual income tax preparation, and an ability to apply the tax code to many different client situations,” commented Paul Pliakas of the Liberty Tax Service office in East Providence.
No previous tax experience is required to enroll in Liberty’s Tax School. Liberty’s 10-week Tax School curriculum
is designed to cover the fundamentals of basic income tax preparation. Lessons cover the latest tax code changes, and the tax credits and forms that are filed with an individual tax return. Class schedules are flexible, and Day and Evening sessions are available.
