Rhythm Quest Percussion is a non-profit, community program founded in June 2009 to teach the youth in RI and Southeastern Ma between ages of 11 -18 yrs old to learn to play percussion in a fun learning environment. We welcome all students that want to attend rehearsals, practice, progress in their abilities and perform within the community.
Students will learn from experienced staff about teamwork, different styles of music and rhythms being performed on various types of percussion equipment. From hand clapping, trash percussion, boom whackers to more traditional percussion, we teach all of these different styles of percussion. Our students get a chance to experience a variety of musical challenges and grow with the program over time.
At this present time, all of our rehearsals are held at the Reynolds School in Bristol, RI located at 235 High Street. We practice on the 2nd floor of the school in which we have multiple rooms for our use.
