Fall Book Sale at Weaver Library

Thousands of books for sale at Weaver Library Oct. 11 to 14

Weaver Library, 41 Grove Avenue, East Providence, will usher in Fall with its annual Fall Book Sale on Friday, Oct. 12 and Saturday, Oct. 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 14 from 1-5 p.m. The sale will take place in the Champlin Program Room. Admission is free and proceeds will benefit library programs, including museum passes and special concerts and events.

A Members Only Preview Sale for Friends of the East Providence Public Library will be held on Thursday, Oct. 11 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Individuals who are not Friends can join for a $5 per person annual membership fee, payable at the door. All paid members are welcome to purchase books at this advance sale. Bookshelves are continuously restocked throughout the weekend, so visit more than once to see a wide variety of books.

Thousands of books will be available at very reasonable prices. Books are restocked continuously, so come back for another look this weekend. Hard cover and soft cover books are $1; children’s books are 50¢; pocket-sized paperbacks are 50¢ each or 3 for $1; CDs, DVDs and audio books are $1. A special selection of books, including vintage editions, will be priced as marked. The sale features novels, biographies, vintage, books on business, health, sports, cooking, gardening, history, art and more, as well as records, sheet music, comics and puzzles. Books are sorted in more than 50 categories and are easily accessible on display cases. Books are restocked continuously throughout the weekend.
