She was the wife of John Logan; she worked for RI DEM before retiring.

Florence E. Logan, formerly of Hazard Avenue, East Providence, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Manatee Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, Florida. She was 86.
She was the wife of John Logan. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Florence (Cunningham) Logan.
Logan worked for the State of Rhode Island in the Department of Environmental Management before retiring.

Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, Kevin Logan of Florida, Terry Logan of Johnston and Timothy Logan of Riverside; 10 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Calling hours are today, Jan. 15, from 4 to 8 pm at Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 am from the Perry-McStay with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142 would be appreciated.
