Florence J. Kelly, 96

Florence J. (Rhodes) Kelly, of East Providence, died Dec. 29, 2012, at the home of her granddaughter, surrounded by family and friends. She was 96.

She was the wife of the late James J. Kelly. She is survived by her children, Stephen (Masako) of Victorville, Calif., Maureen Linhares (the late Kenneth) of Riverside, Patricia Villella (Michael) of North Providence, Michael (Michaella) of Providence, and Kathleen (Lisy) of Lansing, Mich.; a sister-in-law Elizabeth Cafferty of Warwick; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Lillian Cameron of Florida, and three grandchildren.

She was retired from Nyman Manufacturing Co. She loved visiting with family and friends, traveling, and spending time at the beach.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Ave., East Providence, on Friday at 10 am. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
