Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI) is pleased to offer all members of the public a free bone density screening. Early detection of low bone density can help assess a person’s risk for osteoporosis. BCBSRI’s quick, simple test uses an ultrasound to measure the density of a person’s bone.
