Gas Leak Caused Shutdown of Route 195 Near Allens Avenue
Bridges and highways were closed near the gas leak, which happened around Allens Avenue.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Route 195 re-opened around 11:30 p.m. after officials had closed the highway for several hours due to a gas leak underneath it. No one was injured, state police confirmed. Allens Avenue remained closed but was expected to be open by Thursday morning.
