Governor Raimondo visits East Providence Business

Governor Gina Raimondo tours East Providence Business, Graphic Ink, to announce Small Business Initiative

On Wednesday, Governor Gina Raimondo paid a visit to Graphic Ink, an East Providence small business, to announce her innovative plan to infuse capital into the Rhode Island small business community. The Governor conveyed her commitment to make doing business easier in the State by announcing a strategy aimed at businesses like Nelson Silva’s Graphic Ink. After a tour of the facility, she debut the plan to work with banks to improve lending, to infuse funding into Main Streetscapes, and the new Innovation Vouchers now available for research and development. The Governor, Lt. Governor McKee, and Secretary of Commerce Pryor chose East Providence because of all the great things happening here in the City and the business friendly environment offered. The Governor stated that the plan is to “Change the perception of small business here in Rhode Island.”
