Kathleen E. (Higginbotham) O'Neill, 54

Kathleen E. (Higginbotham) O'Neill, of Wampanoag Trail, Riverside, East Providence, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 2, 2013. She was 54.

She was born and raised in Attleboro, a daughter of the late Frank & Helen (Alger) Higginbotham. She was a teaching assistant in the Barrington Public Schools.

She was incredibly passionate about working with children with special needs. Kathleen was a dedicated and loving daughter, mother, sister, and friend to all who knew her.

She is survived by a son Christopher Tucker of Smithfield, RI; a daughter, Jennifer and her husband Richard Barrett of Milford Conn., three brothers, Robert Higginbotham of Plymouth, Mass., James Higginbotham of Springfield, Mass., and Dana Higginbotham of Taunton, Mass. She was the sister of the late Frank Higginbotham of San Juan, Puerto Rico. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours prior to her funeral service. It will be held on Monday, Feb. 11, at 10 am in the Foley – Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main Street, Attleboro, Mass. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
