Kindergarten Registration Next Week

Kindergarten registration in East Providence begins next Monday, March 4, and runs all week.

Registration will take place in the school department attendance/registration office on the third floor of City Hall at 145 Taunton Ave. 

You can go there between 8 am and 3 pm each day next week or on Thursday evening, March 7, from 4 to 7 pm. The latter registration will take place on the first floor of City Hall. 

Parents and guardians must register children. Children must be age 5 on or before Sept. 1.

Parents need three forms of residency, such as a utility bill, mortgage statement, pay stub, lease or car registration, according to the superintendent’s office. 

Parents also should bring proof of immunization of the child and a birth certificate.
