Three actors introduce the characters and ideas of the novel, Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore in a readers’ theater presentation that will delight those who have read the book and even those who have not. The program doesn’t give away the solution to the book’s mystery, but rather engages the audience in the people and challenges of Robin Sloan’s fantasy/adventure exploration of the modern conflict between “new” technology and “old” printed books.
