Looking for a Job? Restaurant Job Fair Tonight!

Restaurant owner Bill Pinnelli is looking to set up shop in East Providence with his new restaurant B. Pinnelli's (Simply Italian). With a new business comes the need for new jobs, and Pinnelli is seeking to hire 40 people over the next four to six weeks, as the business strides toward opening.

Pinnelli will hold a job fair today, Sept. 7, at 736 N. Broadway between 4 and 8 pm. The new business will take over the space previously occupied by Estrela do Mar. Every imaginable position that a restaurant would need to operate is available to fill, Pinelli said by phone Wednesday morning. That includes serving staff, bus boys, hosts and hostesses, dishwashers cooks and more.

The restaurant will be a family-oriented restaurant with "99 percent of the menu's items costing under $20," Pinelli said. Pinelli also added that the restaurant will feature a 225-person function room upstairs.
