Louis F. Miranda, of Arlington Street, East Providence, died Friday Jan. 11, 2013, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center after a long battle with cancer. He was 84.
He was the husband of the late Rosalina (DeCosta) Miranda. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph F. and Virginia (Narcisa) Miranda.
Miranda was a crane operator for the former Washburn Wire Company before retiring.

He leaves two sons, Robert Miranda of Idaho and Richard Miranda of Cranston; three brothers, James, Edward and Joseph Miranda; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
At the request of Miranda, funeral services and calling hours are respectfully omitted.
