Manuel M. DoSoito, 77, Machine Operator

Manuel M. DoSoito, of Russell Avenue, East Providence, died Thursday, March 14, 2013. He was 77.

He was the husband of the late Celestina B. (Andrade) DoSoito. Born in Praia do Norte, Faial, Azores, he was a son of the late Jose and Ana (deAndrade) Souto.

DoSoito was a machine operator for Mono Die Cutting Company. He leaves two sons, David DoSoito and his wife Donna of East Providence and Victor DoSoito and his wife Kristen of East Providence; five sisters, Helena Avila, Julia Souto, Ana daSilveira, Angelina Medeiros and Delfina Silveira; four brothers, Antonio Souto, Eduino Souto, Guilherme Souto, Jose Soito, and seven grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Maria Souto.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 am from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street.

Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are today from 5 to 8 pm.
