St. Mary's Thrift Shop Open for Business after Summer Break

"We are full of Back to School items for both students and their families," says Mary's Closet Thrift Shop manager Darlene Pereira. The shop, located in the basement of the Old Rectory on the corner of 4th street and Warren, has become the 'go-to' place to find clothing, household items, and much more for the East Providence Community. And, the prices can't be beat!

Since its grand opening last May this outreach ministry of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, the Mary's Closet has established itself as a fixture in the community. Shop hours are Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:oo a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Darlene, and her assistant Gloria, are there to welcome shoppers and help them select just the right item for their needs.

Mary's Closet can always use clean men's and women's clothing as well as useful household items. They do not accept furniture or electrical appliances. Donations can be dropped off during Shop hours on by appointment by called the church and leaving a message on 401-434-7456.
