Massachusetts Man Killed In Crash On I-195 East
Victor Pereira, 25, of Seekonk, drove his car into the back of a construction vehicle in the breakdown lane.
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — A Massachusetts man died late Monday night in a crash on Interstate 195 in East Providence. Victor Pereira, 25, of Seekonk, was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to Rhode Island State Police, Pereira was driving on I-195 east near Exit 7 in East Providence around 9:15 p.m. when he swerved out of the lane, hitting the back of a construction vehicle in the breakdown lane.
The driver of the construction vehicle was not injured in the crash.
