New State Police Colonel to be Sworn in at Monday Ceremony
The governor will swear in Col. Ann C. Assumpico as the 13th Superintendent of the Rhode Island State Police.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Gov. Gina M. Raimondo will swear in Colonel Ann C. Assumpico as the 13th Superintendent of the Rhode Island State Police at a ceremony:
Monday, Jan. 30, 2017
11 a.m.
Rhode Island Convention Center
1 Sabin St.
Providence, Rhode Island
According to her office, members of the Rhode Island State Police will be attending the ceremony, along with representatives of federal, state and local government and law enforcement. A receiving line and reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
