Pair from Providence Arrested on Drug Charges in NH

Heather Austin and Elvin Acevado were arrested after a traffic stop in Londonderry last night.

LONDONDERRY, NH — Two people from Rhode Island were arrested in New Hampshire last night on drug and other charges, according to Londonderry Police. Heather Austin, 27, of Laura Street in Providence, RI, was arrested at 3:49 a.m. on Nov. 21, 2016, for possession of controlled/narcotic drugs, two counts of false inspection or registration sticker, and unregistered vehicle.

Also arrested was Elvin Y. Acevado, 30, also of Laura Street in Providence, on possession of controlled/narcotic drugs and possession of drugs in a motor vehicle charges. They were arrested after a motor vehicle stop on Rockingham Road and the RMZ Truck Stop.
