Phyllis L. Banigan, 87

Phyllis L. (Hawkins) Banigan, of Newman Avenue, Rumford, East Providence, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013. She was 87.

She was the wife of was the wife of the late John J. Banigan. Born in Lincoln, she was  the daughter of the late Edwin and Edith Hawkins.

She was a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket for 27 years.

She leaves two sons, John J. Banigan of Riverside, and Philip Banigan of Pawtucket, and four grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Edwin Hawkins.

A private memorial service will be held in the Smith-Mason Funeral Home in Riverside with burial at St. Francis Cemetery. Visit smithmason.com for online condolences.
