Providence Man Accused Of Killing 22-Year-Old Man

PROVIDENCE, RI — Providence police arrested a man they said shot and killed a 23-year-old man last month.

Police got a warrant for Andrew Mangru, 22, of Providence, apprehended him Friday on Prairie Avenue and charged him with murder in connection to the death of Adrei Bonilla, of Providence.

Police said the shooting happened Aug. 28 on Branch avenue. According to authorities, Mangru shot Bonilla while he was behind the wheel of his car on Harrell Court. Bonilla then drove to Cumberland Farms on Branch Avenue, where he later died.

Police said Mangru will be arraigned at a later date
