Providence Man Charged in Connection With East Providence Burglary
Nuno Rego was indicted in connection with a Dec. 16, 2010, incident.

A Providence man is facing charges that he burglarized an East Providence residence and tried to elude police in December.
Nuno Rego, 29, who lives at 65 Harold St. in Providence, is facing charges of burglary, eluding police, driving without a license, possession of marijuana, and leaving the scene of an accident where there was property damage, according to a news release from Attorney General Peter Kilmartin's office.
On Dec. 16, 2010, Rego allegedly burglarized an East Providence residence, then allegedly tried to flee from police officers and hit another car, according to the news release. He was also charged with driving without a license and possession of marijuana.

Rego's arraignment is scheduled for July 13 in Providence County Superior Court, according to the release.
