Providence Woman Will Appear in Upcoming Independent Film
Sissy O'Hara will be in Gilgamesh, an upcoming horror film shot in New England.

Gilgamesh, an upcoming film starring horror icon Melantha Blackthorne and Joe Gannascoli of The Sopranos fame, will feature one of Providence’s own.
Sissy O’Hara is a fourth generation native of the Renaissance City. She participated in a Gilgamesh scene that was filmed at Simon’s 667 nightclub in Providence.
“Predominantly it was reacting to the situations at hand,” O’Hara said during her interview on The Rebecca Flores Show.”I got to do some dancing and used the music in my head to dance to.”

Gilgamesh, written and directed by Richard Chandler, was developed through the Boston Film Family, L.L.C. and shot in Maine, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The film is expected to premiere by the beginning of 2015.
Sissy O’Hara has worked on over 40 union and non-union completions including features, shorts and television projects. She has two sons.
